Justice is what love looks like in public. Amen. Here is a trailer for the rockumentary Call + Response. It’s both disturbing and informative in introducing the problem of human trafficking, or modern day slavery.

  1. A Fair Trade Place Says:

I’ve seen this documentary as well. It’s powerful, disturbing, gut wrenching and inspiring; use your talents to raise awareness and effect change. We’ve even showed it to our high school students and ask them to think of ways they can use their talents to raise awareness of this injustice in the world. I highly recommend this documentary, just be prepared for what it will show you.

  2. Robin Johnson Simpson Says:

After seeing this documentary, two young women at our church started the Save Every Slave club at Menlo Atherton High School.

Check out this website, which was started by Elizabeth Sherwin. She’s using her gifts as an artist to increase awareness about this issue and to raise funds to fight human trafficking.
